The fifth edition of the School and Workshop “Mathematical Challenges in Quantum Mechanics” aims to present the state of the art in some challenging open problems in Quantum Mechanics from the point of view of Mathematical Physics, and provide a space for scientific exchanges among PhD students and early-career and senior researchers.

The school will be complemented by contributed talks by selected young participants. To encourage the participation of young researchers we will provide financial support to a limited number of participants.

Location and venue

The School and Workshop will take place in Campus Leonardo, the main and oldest campus of Politecnico di Milano, located in the east side of Milan, in a vibrant urban area well connected by metro, buses, and commuter rail. Milan is the largest city in northern Italy, and one of the key transport hubs of the country: with its three airports (Malpensa, Linate, and Orio al Serio) and its main train station (Milano Centrale) it is easily reachable from any origin.
